The comprehensive assessment is where I will gather information about the your symptoms, history, and overall mental and emotional health. This helps in understanding the underlying causes and tailoring the treatment accordingly.

Holistic therapy offers a safe space to address emotions, develop coping skills, and gain insight. It considers your physical health, social support, and spiritual practices. While therapy delves into the past to resolve underlying issues, coaching focuses on current challenges and future goals. Holistic psychotherapy takes a comprehensive approach to mental health, acknowledging the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. This approach recognizes how various aspects of life impact emotional wellbeing. Psychotherapy targets harmful thought patterns and behaviors through talk therapy, while Clinical Hypnotherapy utilizes relaxation and visualization to overcome challenges.

You do. I will encourage you to prioritize self-care activities that promote emotional well-being, such as engaging in hobbies, practicing relaxation techniques (e.g., deep breathing exercises, meditation, or yoga), spending time in nature, or engaging in healthy creative outlets as part of your overall wellness treatment. The specifics are up to you.

I think it’s a good idea to implement and practice what we discuss outside of session. This reinforces the new healthy coping strategies. Homework may include journaling, mindfulness exercises, practicing gratitude, or engaging in activities that bring joy and relaxation. Each strategy solidifies the groundwork to address challenges, such as healing from loss, adjusting to sudden change, or living with depression, as examples.
